A dog and his owner have gone viral on social media because of their uncanny likeness.

In their latest Instagram post, Topher Brophy and his furry companion Rosenberg are dressed head-to-toe - and head-to-paw - in a identical Uncle Sam costumes.

Topher said: "We look so much alike physically, and do everything together, so dressing the same just feels natural for us."

Apart from their strikingly similar hair the pair also have matching eyes which goes someway in explaining why Topher calls Rosenberg his son.

Part-time artist Topher and his trusty half-poodle, half-Australian Shepherd have been pictured dressed in a number of funny get ups.

To date, the pair have posted 61 hilarious images to their Instagram account.Topher said: "Rosenberg and I are champions of diversity, so we like to switch things up and embody different cultures and professions that we admire and respect."
