形容詞最高級的用法

一、用于表示三者或三者以上，通常含有 in, of 介詞短語和定語從句的句子：

Autumn is the best season in Beijing.

秋天是北京最好的季節(jié)。

She is the most intelligent girl in the whole school.

她是全校最有才華的女生。

John is the cleverest of all the boys.

約翰是所有男孩中最聰明的。

Kate is the tallest of the three.

凱特是那三個當中個子最高的。

This is the best film that I've ever seen.

這是我所看過的最好的電影。

二、在"Which..., ..., ...or...?"句中，表示三者或三者以上比較：

Which is the biggest, the sun, the moon or the earth?

太陽，月亮，地球，哪一個最大？

三、形容詞最高級表示“最……之一”時，可用“one of the + 最高級 + 復數(shù)名詞”：

Edison was one of the greatest inventors in the world.

愛迪生是世界上最為大的發(fā)明家之一。

四、形容詞最高級的前面常有the, my等形容詞性物主代詞，或者China's這樣的名詞所有格：

This is my busiest day.

這是我最忙的一天。

The Changjiang River is China's longest river.

長江是中國最長的河流。

五、形容詞最高級可以被very修飾，表示強調(diào)：

I'll do my very best.

我一定要盡力而為。

六、most有時和形容詞連用，前面用不定冠詞，表示“非?！保?/strong>

It's a most useful book.

它是一本非常有用的書。
