一、雅思詞匯在聽(tīng)說(shuō)讀寫四部分的作用
聽(tīng)力：主要考察學(xué)生在英語(yǔ)環(huán)境里對(duì)語(yǔ)言的理解和運(yùn)用能力。素材很廣，而且絕大部分來(lái)自于真實(shí)的語(yǔ)言環(huán)境。
閱讀：尤其是academic 閱讀，更是會(huì)涉及到不少專業(yè)知識(shí)

二、基本詞匯：

第一檔次：不會(huì)影響基本理解和會(huì)話的單詞
重要的：important；

基本的：basic:
??? the basic principle of law
迫使：force
??? The president was forced to resign

第二檔次：雅思考試中經(jīng)常出現(xiàn)的核心單詞
重要的: importance, vital,

基本的：fundamental, essential
??? the basic principle of law

迫使：compel

三、分類詞匯：
環(huán)境保護(hù)類、地質(zhì)災(zāi)害類

四、考試中暗含了辨別近義詞的要求
blame, condemn, scold,
You’re the one to blame (condemn)
scold: to speak angrily to sb, especially a child , because they have don sth wrong.

五、識(shí)記
（1）詞根：
幫助記憶：Mediterranean, ambitious/ambition, emigrant/immigrant, suicide,
推斷新單詞： pesticide / insecticide, herbicide, centipede, zoology, embryology

tract：拉、拽?? abstrac, distract, extract, protract, retract, subtract
abstract：abs(離開(kāi))+track = 拉離開(kāi)=抽象的、摘要
distract：dis（分散）+ track= 拉散開(kāi)來(lái)=分心
extract：ex（出來(lái)）+ track= 拉出來(lái)=抽取、萃取
protract：pro（先前）+ tract =向前拽= 延展、延長(zhǎng)
retract：re（向后）+ tract = 向后拽=收回、收縮
subtract：sub(向下) + tract =向下拉=減去、扣除

（2）日常積累：
身邊物品：robust, shift, carnival
