石景山游樂園廟會(huì)特色為逛洋景兒、聽洋曲兒、品洋味兒及玩洋游藝，結(jié)合西洋節(jié)慶活動(dòng)與中國老百姓的傳統(tǒng)廟會(huì)，它使中國人不出國門即可領(lǐng)略異域風(fēng)光、風(fēng)情、風(fēng)味；讓外國人在北京過中國春節(jié)，感受到本土的故鄉(xiāng)之情。今年是兔年，因此在熱鬧的游樂園出現(xiàn)了很多的洋兔子……

There is no temple in sight. Only pirate ships and Disney-like castles. But the non-claustrophobic visitors who don't mind the coziness of a Chinese crowd may enjoy mixing roller coasters, a foreigners' parade, tasty eats and unique cultural experience.

Overall, there is a dominant theme, notes one visitor from Sri Lanka.

"I think this is especially the occasion for the family to reunite and get together as a whole family. Because even after a week or two, they will be living separately. So this is an ideal time to enjoy as a family."

Everyone is strolling around laughing through full, satisfying bites of food. It's a carnivore's delight. There is BBQ galore, from lamb, beef and squid to even grilled alligator.

What's more, it doesn't even seem so odd that vendors have techno music blasting in the background as they turn juicy, grilled lamb sticks every few beats.

Sounds of laughter fill the air, complimented with the occasional screams of terror from a ride nearby.

There is a foreigner parade with several large, decorative floats shaped like pirate ships, musical circus caravan, and even a tasty looking gingerbread house with meter-sized candy lollipops.

Rabbits, clowns and feathered and sequined dancers wave to a cheering and enthusiastic crowd of Chinese.

One of the Russian dancers named Julia says they were invited especially for the parade.

"It's vacation time in Russia and in China. It's more interesting than to sit at home. They are dancers; we are singers, so we decided to explore our talent so we just participate here. Beijing is the capital of China, it's a very beautiful city and it was one more opportunity to visit the city."

American Charlotte Moreau is there watching the parade with her two small daughters.

'I was surprised to see it; I wasn't expecting that. I knew that there were going to be a lot of foreigners here at this temple fair, but actually we haven't seen any except for in the parade. We just wanted to see, but it's been a lot of fun."

To make a good Spring Festival temple fair, you just need to mix a few key ingredients, even if they seem like ones that don't normally go together.
