Most of the time, these exotic items were fruits. At one point, different types of berries were the hit item, as it was said that berries contain a high dosage of anti-oxidants. People were chasing after the hot trends, though if one did think about it, adding a few berries or a little berry extract into an alcoholic drink, whatever health benefits these berries were supposed to provide would be offset by the alcohol. At the same time though, people did not consider that aspect. It was trendy to order a hit item.
