國際貨幣基金組織總裁拉加德13日發(fā)表聲明說，基金組織工作人員建議將人民幣納入特別提款權(quán)貨幣籃子，她對此表示支持。
Christine Lagarde, managing director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), said Friday that the IMF staff has proposed the Executive Board to include the Chinese currency, the RMB, into its special drawing right (SDR) currency basket as a fifth currency and she supports it.

SDR國際貨幣基金組織創(chuàng)設(shè)的一種儲備資產(chǎn)和記賬單位，亦稱“紙黃金(Paper Gold)”。它是基金組織分配給會員國的一種使用資金的權(quán)利。會員國在發(fā)生國際收支逆差時(shí)，可用它向基金組織指定的其他會員國換取外匯，以償付國際收支逆差或償還基金組織的貸款，還可與黃金、自由兌換貨幣一樣充當(dāng)國際儲備。但由于其只是一種記帳單位，不是真正貨幣，使用時(shí)必須先換成其他貨幣，不能直接用于貿(mào)易或非貿(mào)易的支付。因?yàn)樗菄H貨幣基金組織原有的普通提款權(quán)以外的一種補(bǔ)充，所以稱為特別提款權(quán)。
