Both the Party and Government of Vietnam have set their privileged direction of strategic selection and diplomacy into developing Sino-Vietnam relations. At present, the relations have achieved steady progress and leaders of the two sides have also reached broad consensus on it. Vietnam would like to maintain exchanges at high-rank level and carry out corporations for onshore infrastructural constructions and maritime finance, deepening regional and cultural communications while properly managing disparities, thus promoting the forward development of Sino-Vietnam comprehensive strategic partnership, according to Fan Pingming,Foreign minister of Vietnam.
