??? 2009年1月21日peasant在僅有三個旗下樂隊的Paper Garden Record發(fā)行了新專輯《On the Ground》。由于互聯(lián)網(wǎng)的恩惠，實際聽到這張專輯應(yīng)該在12月末1月初。當(dāng)時遇到一件足以成為我人生重大轉(zhuǎn)折點的事，又恰巧聽到peasant這張專輯中的"we are good",讓我一時有一種想飆淚的沖動。"we are good"的開場有股力量悶弱卻咄咄逼人的氣勢，把積藏在心里的郁結(jié)突然提至嗓門，難以呼吸，唯有淚流。
??? peasant來自美國PENNSYLVANIA 的DOYLESTOWN，本名Damien DeRose，出身在工人階級的他經(jīng)常利用晚上的時間創(chuàng)作，為了實現(xiàn)自己熾熱的音樂夢想，Peasant做出了很多的犧牲和努力。peasant收集了很多故事和歌曲來完成《On the Ground》，希望給情緒低落的人默默的支持，也給疲倦的無產(chǎn)階級者們更多的鼓勵和安慰。在這個繁華虛弱的社會背后，peasant仍然能夠平靜地敘說著自己的故事，在黑暗的天空點亮自己的光明。他的音樂樸實純凈，淡色中不僅有一點苦澀，還有亮色的頑強撫慰著人們往日的創(chuàng)傷，告訴人們——Tomorrow is another day。 (文/橘子郡達(dá)人)
