FATTENING, HORIZONTAL STRIPES:
令人發(fā)胖的橫款條紋裙：

I adore horizontal stripes. I love this graphic tunic as soon as I see it. It’s fun and funky, and I think the straight shape is elegant and youthful. But once I’ve put it on, I realise that I look like a zebra crossing.
我喜歡橫款條紋。第一眼看到這件圖形式的長(zhǎng)裙我就愛(ài)上它了。有趣而時(shí)髦，筆直的條紋讓我優(yōu)雅而富有青春活力。但等試穿時(shí)，才意識(shí)到我就像把人行橫道線穿在了身上。

The horizontal stripes make me look so much wider, while the dress hangs unflatteringly from my shoulders, with no hint of a waist underneath.
橫款條紋使我的身材看上去更寬了，裙子直接從肩膀垂到下面，一點(diǎn)兒也顯示不出腰身曲線。

SLIMMING, DIAGONAL STRIPES:
令人苗條的對(duì)角線條：

I can see the appeal of this pretty striped dress to other women, but I’d never have considered it for myself. It’s not just the lack of sleeves or the plunging neckline that would have put me off; it’s the whole Fifties style, which I never imagined could suit me.
我能想到其他女士穿這件衣服時(shí)多么美麗迷人，但卻絕對(duì)不會(huì)考慮自己穿。并不只是因?yàn)樗鼪](méi)有袖子，還是個(gè)深V領(lǐng)，還因?yàn)樗麄€(gè)五十年代的風(fēng)范讓我覺(jué)得肯定不合適。

I’ve always been athletic rather than curvy, so I thought looser styles were more flattering for my shape. To my surprise, I found the nipped-in waist and diagonal stripes drew the eye and gave me the hourglass shape I’ve never had. I look so much slimmer! The diagonal stripes are definitely a trick I’d try again.
我一直都是運(yùn)動(dòng)型而非曲線形，所以感覺(jué)寬松的款式更有利于我的身形。但令我驚訝的是，收腰設(shè)計(jì)和對(duì)角線條非常吸引眼球，也讓我呈現(xiàn)出從未有過(guò)的沙漏一樣的體型。我看起來(lái)苗條多了！
