Fans of the show will recognize Merle Dixon (Michael Rooker), whom we last saw on a roof with his wrist handcuffed to a pipe back in season 1. After escaping what seemed like a zombie death sentence, Merle comes to Woodbury equipped with a bayonet appendage where his right hand used to be.
