A cat came within a whisker of losing one of its nine lives when it came crashing through a ceiling during a lecture at the aptly named University of Peace, in Costa Rica.
都說(shuō)貓有九條命，可是這只小貓的性命也差點(diǎn)沒(méi)了：這只小貓掉落天花板，跌進(jìn)了哥斯達(dá)黎加和平大學(xué)里正在進(jìn)行的一場(chǎng)演講之中。

Caught on camera, the incident caused the bemused lecturer to shriek in surprise when a grey kitty seemingly appeared from nowhere.
這只灰色的小貓從天而降，讓講師驚嚇不已，而這一切都被在場(chǎng)錄像的攝影機(jī)拍了下來(lái)。

And it certainly caught the attention of students learning about the Theory of Change. For what better way is there to illustrate being prepared for something happening out of the blue than a near cat-astrophe?
這也吸引了正在學(xué)習(xí)“變化論”的學(xué)生們。還有什么比一場(chǎng)貓災(zāi)難更能解釋突發(fā)事件的呢？

After sending a few ceiling tiles hurtling to the ground and landing on all fours, the cat decided to make a quick exit to the right.
這只貓帶著天花板上的瓷磚一起掉下來(lái)，四腳安全著陸，隨后它快速的往右邊跑，試圖逃離現(xiàn)場(chǎng)。

But finding there was no way out, it didn't pussyfoot about and swiftly changed direction.
但發(fā)現(xiàn)這里沒(méi)有出口時(shí)，它并沒(méi)有停下腳步，而又快速的往另一個(gè)方向跑去。

The hapless feline was eventually shown the door, when the teacher - still clutching his chest from the shock - asked his students to let it out.
這個(gè)倒霉的小貓最終在別人的指引下逃了出去，而老師卻依然因?yàn)轶@嚇抓著自己的胸口，讓學(xué)生把它引出去。

After such a grand entrance, it seemed the scaredy-cat was more than happy to make an even quicker exit.
如此夸張的登場(chǎng)之后，似乎這只受到驚嚇的貓應(yīng)該慶幸自己離場(chǎng)夠快吧。
