Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett won the Wisconsin Democratic primary Tuesday. He will face off against Republican Governor Scott Walker in the June 5th recall vote.

Voters in North Carolina have enacted a constitutional amendment defining marriage as between a man and a woman.

FBI agents will be joined by authorities from Mississippi and Tennessee on Wednesday in their search for the man suspected of killing a Tennessee woman and her teenage daughter and fleeing with her two younger girls.

And a new poll says about half the people who oppose the war in Afghanistan say the presence of U.S. troops there is doing more harm than good. The AP GFK poll finds that only 27 percent of Americans back the war effort now. A year ago the number was 37 percent.
