“隱藏才能，不使外露”。

“韜”指“弓袋”，并有 “掩藏”之意；“韜光”指“斂藏光彩”，比喻“掩藏聲名才華”；“韜晦”指“收斂鋒芒，隱藏才能行跡”。可見“韜光養(yǎng)晦”的核心含意就是不要鋒芒畢露，咄咄逼人。

這一譯法源自《圣經(jīng)》中的一段話：“Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick；and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.”（注：giveth為古體英語，與give語義相同）

中文可譯為“人點(diǎn)燈，不放在斗底下，是放在燈臺(tái)上，就照亮一家的人。”后人將上述典故引申為諺語“hide one's light under a bushel”，意指不露鋒芒。

A. 音譯法：給力(gelivable)

B. 直譯法

直譯是指譯文要符合譯入語的語言規(guī)范，既保持了原文的內(nèi)容，又保持了原文的形式。

C. 意譯法

意譯又叫 “功能對(duì)等”。通常只取原文內(nèi)容而舍棄其形式，是一種經(jīng)過消化后的“語內(nèi)翻譯”。

得“意”忘“形”！

Meme 文化模因：

Meme: a cultural unit (an idea or value or pattern of behavior) that is passed from one generation to another by non-genetic means (as by imitation)

“裸” 文化，生活中常用以naked為定語的詞還有naked eye（肉眼），naked contract（無償契約），naked sword（出鞘之刀）等。running naked（裸奔）naked officials（裸官）；all-out donation（裸捐）。
