The world renowned Barbie dolls will be coming to China soon. A touring exhibition featuring treasure collection of 1,000 Barbie Dolls will kick off in southwestern Chinese city of Chongqing next January.
A press release was held in Beijing on the upcoming tour on Tuesday. It declared that the exhibition, running through the whole year of 2008, would go to Qingdao, Changsha, Hangzhou, Kunming, Shanghai and Beijing.
The exhibition includes Barbie dolls made in the past 50 years starting in 1958.

國際在線消息（記者陳鵬）：9月4日上午，《珍藏版芭比娃娃展》巡回展新聞發(fā)布會在北京舉行。展覽由中國文物學(xué)會民族民俗文物專業(yè)委員會、德國MWS公司、新加坡最愛文化傳播有限公司主辦，將于2008年1月在重慶啟動，并在青島、長沙、杭州、昆明、上海、北京進行為期一年的巡回展覽，展覽的部分收入將用于當(dāng)?shù)氐拇壬剖聵I(yè)。
民族民俗專業(yè)委員會會長朱澤玲女士在新聞發(fā)布會上表示，這次展覽內(nèi)容為德國MWS公司提供的自1958年始至今的1000個珍藏版芭比娃娃和樂高玩具，以及芭比娃娃的電影。展覽旨在使我國觀眾了解歐美國家的民族民俗文化，促進中外文化交流，推進我國民族民俗文化的發(fā)展。這個展覽已經(jīng)在歐洲十幾個國家的35個城市展出過，受到觀眾的熱烈歡迎。
