There were a few surprises in the list of nominees for the 79th Annual Academy Awards.

There was no Best Picture or Best Director nod for Dreamgirls (though it got eight others, the most of any film), Best Supporting nods for Little Miss Sunshine (as well as a Best Picture nom)。The lovely presenter, Ms.Salma Hayek exulted（vi.歡躍; 狂喜） about the nominee roster（n.花名冊(cè), 登記簿）, "There's so many Mexicans!"

The Oscars will be aired on February 25th, hosted by Ellen DeGeneres.
