The Aging of the Population（人口老齡化）是指人口生育率降低和人均壽命延長導致的總人口中因年輕人口數(shù)量減少、年長人口數(shù)量增加而導致的老年人口比例相應增長的動態(tài)。

當一個國家或地區(qū)60歲以上老年人口占人口總數(shù)的10%，或65歲以上老年人口占人口總數(shù)的7%，就意味著人口老齡化了。
