　　所謂的并列就是指and，as well as，also等，因為看起來很簡單，很多考生就忽視了它的重要性，這也是導致考生一直在低分徘徊的原因之一。由于考生對并列這個考點沒有系統(tǒng)的訓練過，導致閱讀速度降低。結合例子，解析并列在雅思填空題中的應用。

　　前面講到as well as在雅思閱讀填空題中表示并列，此外逗號也可以表示并列關系中的and，即“,”= and.我們可以從下面的例子可以看出。

　　問題：Red leaves are most abundant when daytime weather conditions are and sunny.

　　原文：It has also been recognized for decades that the best conditions for intense red colors are dry, sunny days and cool nights, conditions that nicely match those that make leaves susceptible toexcess light.

　　上述題目翻譯為當白天天氣怎么樣和有陽光，紅葉就會變得很多。And表明是填空題中并列的考點。從原文標紅處可以發(fā)現(xiàn)red colors are dry，sunny days這個關鍵詞。正好切合上述所說“,”= and，因此這題的答案就是dry。我們再來看一個例子，也是關于句號等于and.

　　問題：The Lapita explored and colonised many Pacific islands over several centuries. They took many things with them on their voyages including and tools.

　　原文：They were also pioneers who carried with them everything they would need to build new lives—their livestock, taro seedlings and stone tools.

　　從問題可以翻譯為Lapita已經(jīng)探索和殖民了眾多太平洋小島很多年了，隨著旅行隊伍帶來了很多工具和某種。這里需要考生知道的是and前面跟著的是什么東西。因此我們可以從原文發(fā)現(xiàn)tools這個信號。此時很多考生會寫成taro seedlings，這是錯誤的，因為原文中的and是和tool表并列，是一個意思。因此需要考生知道“,”= and這個方法，這樣才能發(fā)現(xiàn)livestock就是答案。
