Former White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanual has made it official: he threw his hat into the ring to be Chicago’s next mayor. He’s vowing to fight any tax increases for city residents.

It’s been another deadly day in Afghanistan. Officials say at least 10 people were killed in an explosion in the northern part of the country. They say the bomb was hidden in a motorbike along a busy street.

It’s looking a lot like winter today in Minnesota. St Paul got a blanket of snow today, forcing residents to break out shovels and snowboards.
