英語口譯培訓(xùn)：什么是中級(jí)口譯
須要確保翻對(duì)其中的十一小段。即最多只能錯(cuò)五小段。如只翻對(duì)十小段，錯(cuò)六小段，雖然只差一小段，但結(jié)果仍然是不過。所以口試是相對(duì)來說比較殘酷的。這也是口試通過率特別低的主要原因，中口一般為不超過30%，高口一般不超過20%。如一個(gè)考場一天有二十名考生，中口最口譯多過六到七人，高口最多過三到四人。 具體到每小段的時(shí)候，考官會(huì)遵循三分之二正確率的原則。即如一小段中有六個(gè)關(guān)鍵信息，考生必須正確翻出至少三分之二的內(nèi)容才算這小段通過，如翻對(duì)二分之一，則算不及格。

英譯漢原文： When I was young, there was an amazing publication called The Whole Earth Catalog, which was one of the bibles of my generation. It was created by a fellow named Stewart Brand not far from here in Menlo Park, and he brought it to life with his poetic touch. This was in the late 1960′s, before personal computers and desktop publishing, so it was all made with typewriters, scissors, and Polaroid cameras. It was sort of like Google in paperback form, 35 years before Google came along: it was idealistic, and overflowing with neat tools and great notions. Stewart and his team put out several issues of The Whole Earth Catalog, and then when it had run its course, they put out a final issue. It was the mid-1970s, and I was your age. On the back cover of their final issue was a photograph of an early morning country road, the kind you might find yourself hitchhiking on if you were so adventurous. Beneath it were the words: “Stay Hungry. Stay Foolish.” It was their farewell message as they signed off. Stay Hungry. Stay Foolish. And I have always wished that for myself.
