In the 12 days leading up to Christmas Eve, new Harry Potter content will be released daily on the site. The site’s official blog said:

As predicted by some savvy commenters, the final entry in Pottermore's adaptation of The Half-Blood Prince is Dumbledore's funeral. It feels strangely sad and unseasonal for something published two days before Christmas: the green grass and clear blue waters of the lake can't hide the fact that in the book, this takes place in mid-summer.

Weeks after Harry Potter fans were told a new Draco Malfoy story would appear online, JK Rowling has finally delivered the goods: and with it, her own thoughts about Harry's Hogwarts enemy.

Rowling admits that although she pities Draco, she finds the fact that female fans adore the villainous character troubling.

Rowling explains that although "girls are very apt to romanticise" the "dark glamour of the anti-hero", she writes that she has had to tell fans, "rather severely, that Draco was not concealing a heart of gold under all that sneering and prejudice and that no, he and Harry were not destined to end up best friends."

JK Rowling has revealed that monsters in her sixth book, The Half-Blood Prince, were the animated dead of "vagrant, homeless muggles" who were killed by Voldemort when the dark wizard and villain of the book was rising to power.
羅琳在第六本書《哈利波特與混血王子》中提到過這種怪物，他們是“流浪的，無家可歸的麻瓜”的死靈復生，他們都是在黑巫師和書中的反派力量崛起的時候被伏地魔殺害的人。

Rowling explains that an Inferus is a "corpse that has been reanimated by a curse" to become "a grisly puppet" that can be used as a servant by a dark wizard. Used by Voldemort in the sixth book to protect a Horcrux, the Inferi have "many uses" as "a warrior or guardian with no regard for its own safety".

The second riddle led to information about Florean Fortesque, owner of Diagon Alley’s ice cream parlour.

Rowling reveals she had him kidnapped, intending him to be rescued later by Harry, but eventually cut the plot line.
