幾乎所有的人都會(huì)將挪威清新組合Kings of Convenience與六十年代美國(guó)的民謠英雄Simon & Garfunkel相比較，只不過來(lái)自挪威的Erik和Erlend兄弟在這個(gè)世紀(jì)才出現(xiàn)。已經(jīng)發(fā)表過很多成功作品的Kings of Convenience推出的全新專輯《Riot on an Empty Street》仍延續(xù)了以往的風(fēng)格，依舊是Indie Pop大唱主調(diào)。

2001年的首張專輯《寂靜是新的喧囂》，使自在之王在新千年里以Simon and Garfunkel似的音樂理念贏得了眾多喝彩。自在之王溫和文雅的輕柔民謠就像許多來(lái)自北歐的清新樂風(fēng)一樣，它們是那么簡(jiǎn)潔、直入心靈，就像直接從內(nèi)心凝練出的音符從吉他上流淌出來(lái)。
