The saying ‘great minds think alike’ definitely rings true for Leo DiCaprio and Edward Norton.?The actor pals were spotted out and about in New York in nearly identical outfits.?The eco-warrior friends looked deep in conversation as they wandered through downtown Manhattan on Tuesday.

Both Norton, 44, and DiCaprio sported identikit grey hoodies, worn zipped up, and casual t-shirts underneath.?The 38-year-old was snapped finishing off a crafty cigarette as they chatted away during their walkabout in the Tribeca neighbourhood of New York.

It is likely that conversation strayed into their mutual passion for green campaigns.?In 2010 the pair attended a four-day conference in Ecuador to discuss how to preserve the Galapagos Islands.

During their trip DiCaprio and Norton reportedly had a private meeting with the country’s Vice President to discuss how to protect the Ecuadorian Amazon.?Earlier this year, Edward Norton?endorsed?DiCaprio’s support for a campaign to end ivory trade in Thailand.
