托福聽(tīng)力重聽(tīng)題:送分題了解一下
托福聽(tīng)力題型中的重聽(tīng)題大致可分為:
1.推斷類(lèi),問(wèn)法一般是:what does the professor?mean?when he says this-2.態(tài)度類(lèi),一般的問(wèn)法是:why does the professor say this-意在考察考生能否理解說(shuō)話(huà)人說(shuō)話(huà)人說(shuō)這句話(huà)的原因,目的和態(tài)度,能否明白字面以外的意思。
重聽(tīng)題在大部分情況下都可以通過(guò)只聽(tīng)題目來(lái)解題。 ETS通過(guò)此類(lèi)題目重在考察對(duì)說(shuō)話(huà)人語(yǔ)氣的把握,重聽(tīng)題選取的情況大致可以分布在以下幾處:1.說(shuō)話(huà)人語(yǔ)氣語(yǔ)調(diào)加強(qiáng)的時(shí)候2.有人提問(wèn)的時(shí)候3文章結(jié)構(gòu)轉(zhuǎn)接處??忌诼?tīng)整篇聽(tīng)力文章的時(shí)候,在聽(tīng)到說(shuō)話(huà)人的語(yǔ)氣有特別的加強(qiáng)的時(shí)候就要注意,你不需要記下來(lái)這句被加強(qiáng)了的話(huà)具體是什么,此時(shí)需要做的是在腦海里留下個(gè)印象,聽(tīng)出來(lái)說(shuō)話(huà)人說(shuō)話(huà)時(shí)候的態(tài)度是什么就可以了,然后等你回過(guò)頭來(lái)做重聽(tīng)題又剛好問(wèn)到這句話(huà)的時(shí)候就可以有很大的把握答對(duì)這道題目了。
接下來(lái)我們來(lái)舉幾個(gè)例子:
在TPO12-c1中有這么一道題目
(語(yǔ)音)Student: Yeah, I never know how much to include. You know…where to draw the line-
Professor: Tell me about it!
What does the professor mean when she says this-
A. She understands the student's problem.

解釋?zhuān)嚎催@道重聽(tīng)的問(wèn)法是屬于推斷題,英語(yǔ)里tell me about it是一種很常見(jiàn)的口語(yǔ)表達(dá),表示贊同的意思,并不是字面上的"跟我講講"的意思。所以說(shuō)考生如果熟悉這個(gè)英語(yǔ)的固定表達(dá)方式的話(huà)就可以很輕松的做對(duì)這道題目。答案選A
接下來(lái)我們來(lái)看下態(tài)度題(TPO7-L3)的例子
(語(yǔ)音)Student: I know people make utensils out of wood, but utensils out of tree bark-
why does the student say this -
A. To share what he knows about birch wood
B. To point out a misprint in the textbook
C. To bring up a point from a?previous?lecture
D. To request more explanation from the professor 解釋?zhuān)何覀兡軌蚵?tīng)出來(lái)學(xué)生對(duì)"utensils"這個(gè)概念提出了自己的理解,然后再引出了疑問(wèn),很明顯他在請(qǐng)求professor 的解釋。另外B和C是無(wú)關(guān)選項(xiàng)我們可以排除。然后A選項(xiàng),學(xué)生這句話(huà)是圍繞著"utensils"來(lái)展開(kāi)的并不是wood,所以也可以排除。答案選D
最后請(qǐng)大家注意下面例題里說(shuō)話(huà)人的語(yǔ)氣(TPO1-L4)
(語(yǔ)音)Student: Oh, I see. At first I wasn't sure what growing season meant, just from the reading. But now I get it. It's the?amount?of time it takes for them to grow, right- So it would be five months-
Professor: Umm- Oh, uh… I'm sorry but no. It has nothing to do with that.
Why does the professor say this -

解釋?zhuān)赫?qǐng)注意professor 的語(yǔ)氣"Umm-Oh…I'm sorry but no."雖然問(wèn)題的考點(diǎn)是后面那句話(huà)"It has nothing to do with that"但是如果你聽(tīng)出了professor的語(yǔ)氣的話(huà),你甚至可以在還沒(méi)有聽(tīng)到后面那句陳述句的時(shí)候就能夠從她前面的語(yǔ)氣中明白她對(duì)之前學(xué)生講的這番 話(huà)的態(tài)度了。很顯然她是在糾正學(xué)生的錯(cuò)誤,所以答案選A。
