米蘭曾經(jīng)也是個(gè)水上城市

意大利的水城不只有威尼斯，米蘭曾經(jīng)也是一座水城，雖然水沒有威尼斯那么多。

米蘭曾經(jīng)河道縱橫，都是運(yùn)河，這些運(yùn)河連接著當(dāng)?shù)氐暮?、海洋，以及其他重要的水路。整個(gè)運(yùn)河系統(tǒng)花了700多年才建好，但雷人的是，這個(gè)系統(tǒng)建好之后不久就有人提議開始關(guān)閉，因?yàn)橐獢U(kuò)建修路，現(xiàn)在其中很多的運(yùn)河已經(jīng)被填埋了。

Once upon a time channels of Milan connected lakes Maggiore, Como, and the Ticino river with other waterways and the sea. There were five channels inside the city plus a circular channel connecting the radial ones. The construction of the whole system took up 700 years: between the 12th and 19th centuries. However, the first proposal to close the channels was made soon after the completion of the system.
從前，米蘭的運(yùn)河群連接著馬焦雷湖、科莫湖和提契諾州河與其他水路和海洋。這個(gè)城市曾有5條運(yùn)河，還有一條環(huán)形運(yùn)河把豎直的幾條聯(lián)通起來。整個(gè)系統(tǒng)的構(gòu)建歷時(shí)700年：在12世紀(jì)至19世紀(jì)之間。但是，在系統(tǒng)完成后不久就有人提出了關(guān)閉渠道的建議。
