With the development of China, more people want to know about the country. CCTV can play a major role in enhancing people's understanding of China, especially those in western countries."

With a mission of becoming a link of the international audience to Asia, the 24-hour CCTV NEWS channel not only reports what happens in China, but also the major news events that shape Asia and developing countries, drawing the world closer to China, and Asia as a whole.
