A: Saying that all Westerners are rich is such a stereotype. There are lots of poor people over there, too.
B: That is true. I get tired of taxi drivers who seem to have an insipid way of asking how much money I make.
A: I suppose it is fairly tiresome to sit in a car all day. I would understand the driver if he thought his life was a little trite.
B: I guess so; I just find this topic so threadbare after so many cab rides in this city.
A: 說(shuō)什么西方人都很有錢(qián),這種看法太老套了。西方同樣有很多窮人。
B: 真是這樣。我討厭那些總是不厭其煩地問(wèn)我掙多少錢(qián)的出租車(chē)司機(jī)。
A: 整天呆在計(jì)程車(chē)?yán)镆欢ê軣o(wú)聊。我能理解司機(jī)們,可能他們覺(jué)得自己的生活太沒(méi)什么新鮮感了。
B: 可能是吧。不過(guò)打了這么多回車(chē)后,我覺(jué)得這個(gè)話題太老掉牙了。
