1.?prediction

常見表達是“making a prediction”，可以用gloomy表示不樂觀的預(yù)測結(jié)果。

Please don't ask me to make any predictions about tomorrow's meeting.
請不要讓我對明天的會議進行預(yù)測。

2. forecast

forecast和prediction的意思基本一樣，但是前者通常用來表示對特定形勢或天氣的預(yù)測。

economic forecasts
經(jīng)濟預(yù)測

The weather forecast said it was going to rain later today.
天氣預(yù)報說今天晚些時候有雨。

3.?outlook

outlook表示“前景；展望”，可以用bleak表示不好的前景。

The outlook for the economy is bleak.

5. second-guess
猜測；預(yù)言

6. tipped as/tipped to do

He is being tipped as the next prime minister.

Davis is being tipped to win the championship.
