McGrady’s China Move
麥迪抵達(dá)青島，正式開始CBA征程！

Two-time NBA scoring champion Tracy McGrady (特雷西·麥克格雷迪) has just begun his extended career in China, arriving in Qingdao to join the Qingdao DoubleStar Eagles team (青島雙星雄鷹隊(duì)) on October 24.
兩屆NBA得分王特雷西·麥克格雷迪已經(jīng)在中國開始了他的新生涯，他在10月24日加盟了青島雙星雄鷹俱樂部。

McGrady, the seven-time All-Star player spent six years from 2004-2010 playing alongside Yao Ming for the Houston Rockets, which has made him popular in China. He was welcomed by over 1,000 fans at the airport when arriving in Qingdao, and leaped into training immediately after a health examination.
麥迪，這名從2004年到2010年和姚明一起為休斯敦火箭隊(duì)效力的七屆全明星球員，在中國已經(jīng)聚集了很高的人氣。當(dāng)他抵達(dá)青島的時(shí)候，他在機(jī)場受到了1000名粉絲的歡迎。在經(jīng)過體檢之后他立刻投入到了訓(xùn)練之中。

McGrady is reportedly the highest-paid player in the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) and his coach has already targeted the playoffs (季后賽). He vowed (發(fā)誓) to help the Qingdao DoubleStar Eagles win the CBA championship. “All I can do is try hard day in, day out and provide great leadership to my teammates to achieve the goal,” McGrady said at the welcoming ceremony. The DoubleStar Eagles was ranked ninth in the 17-team CBA last season.
麥迪被報(bào)道是CBA有史以來最大牌的球員。他的教練也已經(jīng)把目標(biāo)定在了季后賽。麥迪也發(fā)誓想要幫青島雙星雄鷹隊(duì)奪得CBA總冠軍。“我唯一能做的就是日復(fù)一日的努力，然后用出色的領(lǐng)導(dǎo)能力帶領(lǐng)我的隊(duì)友取得冠軍。”麥迪在歡迎儀式上這樣說道。青島雙星雄鷹隊(duì)在上賽季CBA17個(gè)球隊(duì)中排名第9。

The CBA, with its increased competitiveness, has attracted several former NBA players to join in recent seasons, with former New York Knicks guard Stephon Marbury (史蒂芬·馬布里) its greatest success story. The 35-year-old player led the Beijing Ducks (北京金隅) to the CBA title earlier this year.
CBA，由于其不斷提升的競爭力，已經(jīng)在過去幾個(gè)賽季吸引了好幾位前NBA球星加盟，曾經(jīng)的紐約尼克后衛(wèi)史蒂芬·馬布里就在這里取得了成功。這名35歲的球員在今年上半年帶領(lǐng)北京金隅奪得了CBA冠軍頭銜。

“It’s good for Tracy,” McGrady’s former Houston team mate Shane Battier (肖恩·巴蒂爾) said. “Maybe he just wants something new and different, which a lot of guys do after playing in the NBA for so long. China’s definitely a good choice.”

But it remains unknown what the 33-year-old player will be capable of doing. “The CBA isn’t as easy as people think,” warned Marbury. Its talent level has gotten higher, he said, noting that NBA All-Stars Steve Francis (史蒂夫·弗朗西斯) and Kenyon Martin (肯揚(yáng)·馬丁) had also played in China, while former MVP Allen Iverson (艾倫·艾佛森) is seemingly considering the idea.
但是仍然充滿疑問的是這名33歲的老球員有能力去做多少?！癈BA并不是人們想的那么簡單。”馬布里警告說。雖然天賦同樣很高，但是史蒂夫·弗朗西斯和肯揚(yáng)·馬丁在中國打球過程中也依然沒有取得什么。當(dāng)然，現(xiàn)在前NBA的MVP艾倫·艾佛森似乎也在考慮這個(gè)想法。
