白色情人節(jié)
White Day is a day celebrated in Japan on March 14, one month after Valentine's Day. It is also
observed in South Korea.
在日本，情人節(jié)后的一個(gè)月，也就是3月14日，便是白色情人節(jié)。韓國(guó)同樣如此。
In Japan, Valentine's Day is observed by females who present chocolate gifts (either store-bought or handmade), usually to a male, as an expression of love,
courtesy or social
obligation. A handmade chocolate is usually preferred by the receiver, because it is a sign that the receiving male is the girl's "only one".
在日本，情人節(jié)的時(shí)候通常是女性送巧克力給男性，以表達(dá)自己的愛(ài)意、禮貌或者社交義務(wù)。巧克力可以是店里買的，或者自己親手做的。對(duì)于收巧克力的人來(lái)說(shuō)更希望收到手工巧克力，因?yàn)檫@代表了自己是女孩心中的唯一。
On White Day, the converse happens: males who received a honmei-choco ("chocolate of love") or giri-choco ("courtesy chocolate") on Valentine's Day are expected to return the favor by giving gifts, usually more expensive. Sometimes the term sanbai gaeshi (literally, "triple the return") is used to describe the generally recited rule that the return gift should be two to three times the cost of the Valentine's gift.
而在白色情人節(jié)這天，事情就要倒一倒了。情人節(jié)時(shí)收到本命チョコ（表達(dá)愛(ài)意的巧克力）或者義理チョコ（出于禮貌的巧克力）的男士需要在這一天還禮作為報(bào)答，通常送的東西得比收到的更貴。有時(shí)大家會(huì)用“三倍返し”（三倍返還）這么一個(gè)短語(yǔ)來(lái)表達(dá)普遍存在的潛規(guī)則，也就是說(shuō)還禮的禮物要比情人節(jié)收到的禮物貴上2-3倍。
