告別Chinglish:關于人際交往的俚語

bleeding heart | 老好人(= kind man) | He was accused of being a bleeding heart on welfare issues. |

pull one's leg | 開某人玩笑 | You're always pulling my leg. |
go for broke | 放手一搏,孤注一擲 | I'll go for broke in this exam. |
add up | 講得通(=make sense) | His story just doesn't add up. He must be lying. |
jump to conclusion | 倉促地下結論 | Don't jump to conclusions. I will prove myself. |
