To start with, for college students, taking part-time jobs can not only reduce their parents’ financial burden, but also help them to achieve economic independence. As is known, college students’ tuition and daily expenditures are such a large sum of money for an ordinary family that students can’t wait to make money by themselves to improve the condition. Moreover, college students can put what they have learnt into practice by taking a part-time job, which contributes to preparing them for their future career. In addition, these working experiences are conducive to strengthen students’ competitive power as well as perfect their personalities.

However, many people hold the view that it takes college students so much time and energy to do part-time jobs that they may neglect their study. Therefore, it’s necessary for college students to keep a balance between studying and working.
