1.《both…and…》構(gòu)成的詞組作為主語時，謂語動詞用復(fù)數(shù)。

Both Li Ming and Li Li are good students.

（Li Ming和Li Li都是人，所以兩者對等）

李明和李莉都是好學(xué)生。

注意

在《both…and…》句型中，and連接的詞或詞組要對等。

2.《both…and》的否定句表示部分否定。

He can't play both the violin and the piano.

他會拉小提琴或者會彈鋼琴。（不全會）

Both Li Ming and Li Li are not good students.

明和李莉不都是好學(xué)生。（其中一個是好學(xué)生）
