Linda : It seems that your computer is fixed now?
琳達：你的電腦好像修好了？

George: The guys from the help desk fixed it straight away.
喬治：維修部的人很快就把它弄好了。

Linda : Did they tell you what they found wrong with it?
琳達：他們有沒有告訴你是什么問題？

George: They found a virus but I don't know how it got on my computer. I always used a virus scanner.
喬治：他們發(fā)現(xiàn)了病毒，可我不知道病毒是怎么跑到我的電腦上的。我一直在用查毒軟件。

Linda : Maybe you caught the virus from the Internet.
琳達：你可能是在網(wǎng)上染上的病毒。

George: No, our company has a strict policy about the Internet and I always follow it carefully.
喬治：不會，我們公司對上網(wǎng)要求很嚴格，我一直都是小心遵守的。

Linda : Well, as long as was fixed, that's the main thing right?
琳達：只要修好了就行，這才是最重要的，對不對？

George: Absolutely. What did we do before computers were invented - I get so stressed when mine is on the fritz.
喬治：沒錯。電腦發(fā)明之前我們做什么——電腦一壞我感到壓力很大。

Linda : Right. I just wish that computers could make learning English easier!
琳達：是這樣。我只希望電腦能讓學英語更容易一些。

George: Practice Linda, practice.
喬治：多練習，琳達，多練習。

Linda : See you later George.
琳達：再見，喬治。
